Information

Big Y has issued a voluntary market withdrawal for 1 lot code of 8oz Big Y Sesame Seeds due to trace amounts of a pesticide found in the product. Chlorpyrifos is a pesticide that is not allowed to be found in any amount in sesame seeds. This product was supplied to Big Y from a secondary supplier who in turn received it from a Third-Party supplier. No other lot codes or sell-by dates of Big Y Sesame Seeds are affected by this voluntary market withdrawal. Similarly, no other Big Y products containing sesame seeds are affected by this recall.

Upon returning the product to your local Big Y or with the proof of purchase (if the product was discarded), you will receive a full refund.
